The Board of Aldermen Monday will vote on two ordinance amendments requiring owners of multi-family properties to install carbon monoxide detectors and to file contact information with the tax assessor's office. Sponsoring Alderwoman Maria Reyes Rivera, D- 15, of Fair Haven said the ordinance amendment requiring carbon monoxide detectors would protect renters and people in buildings with attached garages from CO poisoning.
